Love this ironing board. Like that it's wider than the average ironing board because it's easier ironing shirts..,.more of the shirt gets ironed at one time, less wrinkles too. This ironing board's height is adjustable, and I like that I can make it stand higher than the average ironing board because I'm tall. The cover it comes with is thin. I bought two ironing board covers because I realize they may not be as easy to find as the average size covers. I really like using this ironing board. A definite recommend.

I was frustrated with my old ironing board, which would randomly fold itself up in the middle of an ironing project. I needed to iron table cloths, chair covers, chair sashes, and table runners for a wedding and knew my old ironing board was not up to the task. This one is great! It's very sturdy, not rickety like my old one, and it stays exactly where I put it, adjusted to just the right height. The only drawback with this one at all is that it doesn't fit in my little closet where my old one was. I thought it might be too wide, but it turned out to be the height, not the width, that is the problem. When folded, the legs extend beyond the top of the board, making it too tall for the closet. In spite of that, I love this board and just found a new place to store it.

3. I was able to slide my cover over the edge enough to hold it down . Try pushing it down with a flat object like a dull butter knife , Good luck

4. I will probably make my own if and when this wears out

1. The legs pull down.

2. Underneath the board in the middle of the left side, there's a small lever. Pushing it up allows the legs to move, both for setting the unit up and lowering it down. You can also adjust the height within a small range while pushing on the lever. It took me a few minutes to figure this out myself; there should really be something on the packaging at least advertising the lever - which is pretty handy - as a feature.

1. I haven't tried to remove the iron holder, but did remove the rack below the board; just kept getting in the way. I use the iron holder to hold my water bottle I use refilling the iron.

2. Yes, it will slide out. Pull hard on one side, then on the other; have one hand on the board and the other hand on the iron rest, and pull apart. With each pull you should get about an inch. After about 3 cycles of pulling on the two sides, you will have it off.
