Sea of Thieves crosses 15 million players, over 1 million copies sold on Steam

Rare'south pirate simulator Sea of Thieves just keeps growing. According to a new printing release from Joe Neate, executive producer at Rare, Sea of Thieves recently crossed 15 million players, with over a million copies sold on Steam since its launch on that platform in June. Additionally, Neate says that June 2022 was the biggest month for the game since its launch, with over iii.3 1000000 players.

This is impressive continued growth, as our last official player count for the game was 10 million players earlier this year in Jan. Ocean of Thieves was the biggest new IP from Xbox Game Studios this generation dorsum in January, and so that title is just cemented 5 million additional players added in a year.

Sea of Thieves has seen most-innumerable updates since its original launch, adding Megalodons, new items, quests, pets similar cats and more. While we don't accept exact details nonetheless, Rare has hinted at Xbox Series X upgrades being available when the console launches in Holiday 2022.
